January 21
I returned to Juniper Park, and walked a mile. The ground was thawing but there were large patches of snow and ice on the path, and a couple of times I lost my way, and once or twice I slipped in the slush. The restrooms were closed for the season, which I think was a first. In the past, only one stall in the women's was closed, but given the abuse the restroom has in the summer, it made sense to close it for the winter. I was the only one in the park. It took time getting over the ice, but I had plenty of other walking during the day, and so made my half hour.
